Extracting The Maximum Possible Nutrient Content Without Damage Or Loss In The Process
Cold pressing juice is a method of extracting the maximum possible water and nutrient content from plants without destroying or damaging them in the process.
Cold-pressed juice is the gold standard in juice production. We refuse to use any other method at The Juicery.
Cold pressing fruits and vegetables generate little to no friction or heat, so the nutrient loss is minimised in the juicing process.
The alternative juicing method is centrifugal, which uses loud high-speed motors to extract juice. This creates both heat and friction, which damages the nutrient quality of the end product juice.
Why We Do Not Use HPP
HPP stands for High-Pressure Pasteurization. It is a method of extending the shelf life of a juice using pressure instead of chemicals.
Unfortunately, the process kills the beneficial enzymes and health-promoting bacteria in the juice. We also believe you sacrifice taste in this process. Cold pressed, non-HPP juice is the only true healthy raw juice available.
